Community Standards

GirlsTalk aims to be a respectful place for practical ideas and thoughtful conversation. These standards describe the behaviour expected if and when reader participation features are available.

Be respectful

Disagree with ideas without insulting, shaming, threatening or targeting another person.

Protect privacy

Do not share someone else’s private messages, contact details, location, images or identifying information without permission.

Keep it genuine

Do not impersonate others, post spam, manipulate discussions or present guesses as verified facts.

Content that is not appropriate

  • Harassment, hate, threats or encouragement of harm.
  • Sharing private or identifying information about yourself or another person.
  • Spam, scams, deceptive promotions or undisclosed advertising.
  • Sexual exploitation, content that endangers minors, or requests for private images.
  • Medical, legal or financial claims presented as guaranteed outcomes.

Participation status

GirlsTalk is not currently presenting a live public discussion forum or reader-submission form on this page. These standards are published in preparation for responsible participation features. They should be revisited before submissions open.
