Moderation Policy

A community should be useful only when people can participate without harassment or pressure to reveal private details. This policy explains the moderation approach GirlsTalk intends to use if reader contributions are introduced.

What may be reviewed

If comments, reader stories or question submissions are enabled in future, submitted material may be reviewed for relevance, safety, privacy, spam and compliance with the Community Standards.

Possible moderation actions

Edit or remove

Material that exposes private information, is abusive, misleading or unrelated may be declined, edited for privacy or removed where the available tools permit.

Limit participation

Repeated abuse, spam or attempts to endanger others may lead to restrictions if a participation system is introduced and supports them.

Protect people

We would avoid publishing identifying details and would prioritise safety concerns, especially where minors may be at risk.

Current limitations

At the time of this review, GirlsTalk is not displaying an open reader discussion board or a verified submission workflow on the Community page. This policy is a statement of intended practice, not a claim that a moderation team, reporting queue or response-time guarantee is already operating.

Before enabling public participation, the site owner should configure a monitored contact or reporting route, decide how submissions and personal data are stored, establish a process for removal requests, and review age-appropriate safeguarding.
